IN WHICH WE GOT A NEW LAMB OF GOD VIDEO!!

So Axl and I are shuttering up the gates to the MS Mansion when we get wind that there’s a new Lamb of God video for “Set to Fail” available. Fucking BAD ASS!!!
Before this event of over-arching importance occurred, here’s what we would’ve said was important this week:
- We spoke with Salome’s Aaron Deal and Chimaira’s Mark Hunter.
- No Ozzfest this year. We don’t buy the excuse that it’s because Ozzman’s working on a new album, but at least the Osbournes will be making asses of themselves on national TV again… oh wait.
- We watched Mastodon in the recording studio while we falsely assumed a new track of theirs appeared in a videogame trailer. No matter; Crack the Skye is coming March 24th and there’s a super-special limited edition package available for pre-order.
- Limp Bizkit announced their inevitable reunion. With Wes Borland. No surprise.
- We joined Twitter. Webernets, watch out!
- We looked at new releases by Scale the Summit, Obscura and the new DVD by Dir En Grey. The world previewed the new God Forbid record… and overwhelmingly liked it, by golly! In the Coyle Commune annex of the MS Mansion, Dallas slyly grinned while tapping his fingers slowly together and saying, “Exxxxxxcellent.”
- We pontificated the seemingly complete irrelevance of the Grammies and then immediately forgot about them.
Enjoy cuddling up with your shnookums (metal!) on Valentine’s Day tomorrow and celebrating a day called “Presidents Day” — even though no U.S. presidents were actually born on said day — by not going to work on Monday. Seeya Tuesday.

Fuck dude. That was awesome. I love that the drums seem just so fuckin’ LOUD! And this sounds like Randy Blythe at his best. Very nice.
Good God. These guys are on their peak, or they are just very close to reach it….. The song kicked ass, but song video tears new buttholes everywhere! Just fuckin’ badass!
the video sorts of remind me the Pantera’s “Mouth for War” video, at least the last part of it. The band just playing into a big mosh. Awesome.
The video is alright, pretty standard stuff, and I like the song with its giant twangy groove.
But the video just made me really impatient for 5-1 when I see them in NYC!!
hell yeah! i was there! hours upon hours of hearing that song and i’m still not sick of it. badass song!

Adler’s choice to bring blast beats into LoG (especially at this stage in their careers) is awesome.
now i have never been a fan of lamb of god, dont like anything ive heard by them…until now, i have to admit thats a pretty cool song

Yeah I’m pretty sure the new album (from what I’ve heard so far) is really emphasizing Chris Addler’s part– “Contractor” is pretty much just him showing off his skills for 4 minutes, but it’s a really cool song too.
Pretty sure he’s the most talented one in the band (BUT I STILL LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF ‘EM!!). T-up and looking forward to new album!

awesome song, awesome album, awesome video. the´ve really picked themselfes up from sacrament in my opinion. best album from them according to me. can´t wait to buy the album and i´m hoping to see them live again soon!
