I don’t hear the Maiden in this either. It does remind me of the local bands that would play at L’Amours circa 1988 that I loved because back then I bought into anything remotely metal. Then again, I was 13.

I’ve been a Maiden fan since before most of the commentors on this blog were born and the only similarities I hear between this band and any incarnation of Iron Maiden are that they have a singer, a guitarist or two, a bassist and a drummer. And they make music. Blaze Bailey era Maiden is better than this “warrior” metal, and Blaze Bailey era Maiden is an abomination on the St. Anger scale of abominations.
