@36thoughtless: The singer sounds like she is doing everything in her being to copy Ozzy. And is focusing more on being Ozzy then coming up with something involved and interesting. And also I found her literally painful partly because of the crappy speakers I have at work and it was just ear piercing to the point of agony.
But I can’t blame her for my work speakers sucking… Or can I?!?!?

I will say that I liked the bands art work. So they got that much going for them.

Nothing to add about Serpentcult as I have never heard their music, but I just wanted to say that Dopethrone is the shit. I still listen to that album all the time. So fucking good.

I love this album. The highlights are the singer, the down tuned guitars, crushing riffs and up front balls to the wall bass playing.

I’d give this a 4/5 easily and more for a debut from a doom band. I think this is their debut anyway.

It is a very heavy album indeed.

Now this is a cool review. Not your average review…something different. I like it.

I think this is an album review, it’s hard to tell what the point of this post is with all the fluff. Anyway… I just wanted to say as sludge/doom listener I would have to put this band on the bottom of the list. The music is average and the singer is painful. If that is what a sober Ozzy would sound like thank God for drugs and alcohol.
