Amazing book. Even though they aren’t metal I think a lot of people can respect RHCP for their good music and great live performances.

I’m holding my breath that the film adaptation will live up to the book though.

Good book, you should read it. It’s got a lot of crazy rock star stories. Anthony did like every drug known to man before the age of 13 lol

This may not be the best site for a fan of the band, but whatever… the book was great.. i’m a little sketchy about this guy they got working on it, but hbo is kinda been on a roll with thier new shows lately (big love, tru-blood, the show about the psycholigist i forget the title, molitov alta, etc.) so maybe just cause he’s a shitty writer of his own material, it doesn’t mean he’s gonna be able to fuck up something THAT badly that’s already been written.

BTW dirt as great a book as it was will never see the light of day as a decent movie. With the extreme of a storyline it’ll be near impossible to stay on the other side of a self parody/spinal tap documentary
