I only payed 10 bucks for it. That was definitely worth my 10 bucks. There are so many good things about this album. It has scorchers like "Empire of the Gun." "Earthsblood" is epic! "Walk Alone" is a well executed poppy metal song with infectious guitar work. (Which is what All That Remains "Two Weeks" wishes it could be... that song fucking sucks) Byron gives a good performance on this CD. Your brother has become one hell of a lead guitarist. I also strongly agree with a previous poster in the respect that the influences show. You guys are more adventurous and progressive almost like Opeth. I forget which solo, but in one it even seems like Doc summoned Trey of Morbid Angel. After reading the credits, I also have to say that you guys have great taste in musicians. You chose Michael Romeo to do guest orchestrations and Kris Norris for a guest solo. Great choices there. How was it working with Michael Romeo, and why didn't you ask him to put a solo on the CD. He is probably the most amazing guitarist I have ever seen. He pulls of the most complex stuff with ease, but it also a tasteful player.
