spoils-of-failure

  1. You can stream Buried Inside’s super awesomelicious new album, The Spoils of Failure, here. I’ve been trying to get you guys excited about this record for awhile now and I don’t know how good a job I’ve done, so, for the love of all things holy: GO LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM ALL THE WAY THROUGH AT LEAST ONCE. If you don’t like it you don’t like it, but it deserves your attention, damn it.
  2. If you’ve got the blues and need a good belly laugh, you can stream Dope’s new album, Antichrist Nobodies No Regrets, here. But don’t go there looking for good music; there’s none to be found.

LoL funny how the link to the Dope album directs you to Hot Gay Singles on Myspace LMAO

The new Buried Inside album kicks ass!

Thanks for turning me onto this amazing band. Coming from my home province i feel like a dumb ass for not already knowing them. I’m definitely seeing the when they hit the Wreckroom.

Man! That guy is the best vocalist ever!

What I think is the most impressive is that they’ve managed to do something fresh-sounding in a genre that became quickly oversaturated. No one wants another Cult of Neurisis clone…but fuck! These guys kill it!

There was a time a few years back when I would of thought this was the most important album i’ve ever heard..maybe now i’m too bitter to just be depressed, I need some sugar in my coffee these days becuase my patience has worn away almost completely.

I sat down with a nice glass of scotch and watched Candyman II on mute and gave this album a hearty listen. What I have to say can be summed up in a few short numbered bullit points.

    1. This album does NOT provide a good sountrack to Candyman II.

    2. The aformentioned statment makes me happy because I didn’t like Candyman II.

    3. The album isn’t breaking any ground but it does provide the best introduction to bands like Neurosis, Isis, Mouth of the Architect, ect.

    4. The listen brought up deep, depressing nostalgia..i’m very impressed by this trigger effect.

    5. I was not sold at all until the about the last 2 minutes of the album…perhaps it was the scotch.

With that being said…we should all start listening to DOPE..that would be the ultimate sad.

This is actually pretty decent. I cant understand most of what the guy is screaming about, but its pretty dark/moody/heavy. I might actually buy this after listening to the stream!

Buried Inside sound pretty freakin’ sweet, but what I don’t get is how can a couple of guys that have stated time and time again that they just don’t get Neurosis or Isis be into Buried Inside?
