Well that was… interesting.
I think he’s a jazz drummer, explaining his “odd” style that some of you pointed out, and as for being the fastest, apparently he was…. 7 years ago. He held the world record for a year, between 2000 and 2001, I believe. I read his shitty website but I already forget.

there are a few Behemoth tracks where Inferno reaches about 260 bpm, but i don’t have any confirmation of that necessarily being the fastest ever.

I was going to say, I don’t think he’s the fastest drummer in the world. I’ve seen lots of videos claiming that, and heck I’d even put Flo Mounier ahead of this guy. And Gene Hoglan for sure.

But still, he’s certainly not BAD.

He’s not the fastest drummer in the world, but way to be a sucker for a description on YouTube.

There is nothing COOL about being the fastest drummer in the world. Especially if you’re some ugly Italian guy sitting in your office room in your beat up house in Lyndhurst, NJ.

The more pocket a drummer can play, the cooler the drummer is.
