MORE FREE SHIT FROM TRENT REZNOR, INCLUDING NEW MUSIC FROM JANE’S ADDICTION!

clue4-748616-748722Seriously, anyone who doesn’t love Trent Reznor has to be some kind of massive tool. As if all the crap he does didn’t already make him pretty much the coolest living rock star in the world today, he’s now giving away more free music – a sampler featuring some NIN songs, Street Sweeper tracks, and, perhaps most excitingly, new, Reznor-produced music from Jane’s Addiction.

There’s two new Jane’s tracks – one called “Chip Away,” which is mostly just chanting and doesn’t really do anything for me, and another entitled “Whores,” which I think is pretty catchy if not necessarily the knock flat on the ass you’d hope for from new Jane’s Addiction music. [I fucked up. Oops. - AR]

Download the sampler here and judge for yourself. Reznor being such a cool motherfucker, there’s a wide range of formats for audiophiles to choose from for the download.

Thanks to MetalSucks Maniac Sukey Scorer for the tip!

    I think I see Dave Navaro’s vagina

    ‘Whores’ is an tune from the early days of JA.

  • The Greys

    Both “Chip Away” and “Whores” are old songs. Jane’s Addiction did a live album before they released “Nothing’s Shocking” that contained both songs.

    The live album was an indie release, so maybe they’ve been waiting to rerecord them.

    @BBR

    Yeah, it’s not like Trent Reznor has done anything important.

    Oh, wait, he has, you’re just a closed minded dick.

    This is the second recent photo/vid I’ve seen with Douche Navarro without his signature PRS. Did they drop him?

    “Seriously, anyone who doesn’t love Trent Reznor has to be some kind of massive tool.”

    What glorious irony.

    As much as I want to think otherwise his era is really over. The fact that he one-upped radiohead by releasing an awesome album for (actually) free over the internet and put together what is undoubtedly the best live show I’ve ever seen didn’t help him at all this past summer. His shows were far from sold out. (even with robin finck!)

    Doesn’t change the fact that he’s a badass though.
