It's a blog after all and will frequently seem to be a contradiction but that's the nature of opinion – and what I like about this site to be honest. My two cents is that Isis will continue to make good albums like this one and Absence. However the two before them set the bar so high I can't help but feel a little let down. And that's probably not fair on them but it's just how I feel – and anyway, it's a testament to Oceanic and Panopticon really.
