MetalSucks and Fuse are teaming up to offer you one of our coolest contests to date; one lucky winner will take home the entirety of Metallica’s discography on CD! Whether you rag on Death Magnetic or think it’s Metallica’s best album to date, this contest is for you. We’ve all got holes in our CD collections, so this is your chance to kill fill ‘em all.
To enter: tell us what your favorite Metallica song of all time is, and tell us why. Remember, this is MetalSucks, not your 5th grade essay test, so make ‘em funny/interesting/good. Email all entries to news [at] metalsucks [dot] net with “METALLICA CONTEST” in the subject line.

No thanks. I already have all the ‘Tallica records I want, and I don’t even listen to those. Cheeseballs like Hetfield and Ulrich can get in while divine beings Lynott, Gorham, Robertson and Downey continue to be ignored? What a crock.

Really, there are only 4 albums to get. How hard is that? They’ve been out for decades. Unless you are 14 and just starting out, in which case there are probably going to be a lot of essays on being “madly in anger with you”. I’m glad I don’t have to sort through those emails.

This just goes to show that true Metal will only get recognized when it gets watered down with the beer infused piss after a night of drinking cans of Pabst! Metallica deserves respect for their brilliant 80’s thrash, but, they should have played “Number of the Beast” or admitted that they should not be inducted before acts like Iron Maiden!!
Does this includes the whole “Live shit” thing? and it also include people outside the US?
Well, to me, the best Metallica song is Master of Puppets, because the main riff is soooo damn good and sooooo damn heavy that it makes me feel like the incredible Hulk when I’m actually a chubby 5′7” and a half type of guy, with the same mentality of destruction all around.
