NEW CONVERGE SONGS! NEW CONVERGE SONGS! NEW CONVERGE SONGS!

Since last week’s teaser for the new Converge album, I’ve had kind of a hard time thinking about anything but Converge. Why? Well, ’cause it’s always good to know that there’s at least one band which will pretty much never, ever, under any circumstances, let you down.

So. Because he’s cooler than we are, Metal Injection’s Sean Gresens attended this past Saturday night’s Converge show in Brooklyn, where he captured some absolutely awesome footage of two new, apparently still untitled songs. Metal Injection will actually be posting the band’s entire set piece by piece over the coming days, so make sure you check back there frequently – but in the meantime, here’s NEW FUCKING COVERGE!!!

This shit was awesome. I don’t know why you guys would miss Converge AND Genghis Tron at the same show.

Pure brilliance as always, Converge piss razor blades over just about every other band out there.

thank you for putting this up, the one bright spot in the middle of a shitty day, blizzard up to 12″ of snow and of course like usual my school is the only one not closed

I cant wait to hear the actual recordings, especially the 2nd one

That is about the lamest pit I’ve ever seen at Converge show. But the songs rocked.

^^ It’s really hard to mosh/dance/whatever to new songs. You don’t know when the changes or breakdowns occur, and MOST people just want to listen and see what the new tracks are all about. At least that’s what I do when new, unreleased songs are played.

I too am very excited to see what those songs will sound like when recorded. You can always depend on Converge for consistency – gotta love that band.

I’m a little annoyed I missed that Brooklyn show, but shit happens.
