Not just because of the unfortunate strangehold that reality TV has taken on my life, but also because alterna-grunge popsters Ned’s Atomic Dustbin had two bass players, and that’s sheer craziness!

What does that factoid have to do with television, you ask?

    Ned’s!!!! These guys were freakin great.

    I saw these guys live and they were fucking great. Only band I’ve ever seen w/2 bass players, but it worked! 1 guy played a p-bass that sounded pretty standard. The other guy used a gnarly-sounding Rickenbacker as more of a rhythm guitar, ala Lemmy.

    Not terrible, from what I vaguely remember, but the singer’s dancing makes me want to cut his legs off.
