I don’t wanna spoil the “twist” of their new video, “Black Tears,” but like their last video, “Endzeit,” it hinges on the viewer’s interest in process and, more specifically, the answer to the question “What the fuck are these people up to?”
“Black Tears” comes off of 2008’s Iconoclast. The band has a DVD coming out, Bildersturm – Iconoclast II (The Visual Resistance) at the end of May on Century.

I’m a big fan of Heaven Shall Burn, especially their stuff off of Antigone. Pretty good video, but I liked the Endzeit video much more.

Anyway, this is way better then Endzeit video (An awesome video too mind you), the “twist” was great and I didn’t really see it coming. The switching in audio was awesome too, I can not wait for this DVD to come out, HSB has been one of my favorite bands for years

HSB make great studio albums…awesome song writing skills, not too crammed but epic sounding…but trust me they leave a lot to be desired live…
Honestly didn’t know this was a cover, sort of explains why it sounded so weak compared to the rest of HSB’s material.

Good cover of Edge of Sanity’s song. I prefer the cover done by Eternal Tears of Sorrow though. Edge of Sanity/Dan Swano should release Crimson III and get it over with LoL
Although I wonder why Heaven Shall Burn chose to release a video for Black Tears. Maybe they just really like that song and it’s a nod to Edge of Sanity?
