ITS NOT TRUE! Killswitch is trying to do something new, and that’s what counts. true artists learn from their past, and expand on their knowledge and try new sounds and emotions for the future. They’re in a position like Metallica was for St. Anger and Death Magnetic is all – except the preceding album As Daylight Dies doesn’t suck, and even if you argue it does it isn’t nearly as terrible as St. Anger. Whether or not this new album will sound like everything else they have done or will suck is impossible for anyone to say, but i highly doubt these guys will let themselves get swept away on the same lvl that A7X has. Hands down, KSE is an amazing band (Grammy nominees, cmon!) and will grow to the times, and that alone stands as a testament as to how influential they are in the music industry (maybe all that bullshit gangsta rap will learn the positives of having actual instruments in their canon, and the tides of pop will actually turn to some talented shit for once, which hasn’t happened for decades). Just because you’re at the forefront of the scene or use some typical song structure doesn’t mean you’re baked, unoriginal, gay or teeny-bopper — it just means you have power that no one else has.

Seriously, I really hate the comparison between A7x and KSE.
