SMOKICIDE SILENCE

Oh boy oh boy. 4/20 is just days away. And for once, I plan to put aside my Jewish guilt and forget that it’s Hitler’s birthday and the anniversary of Columbine, and concentrate on the fact that it is, of course, a day to toke the ganj. As though we needed an excuse.

Suicide Silence are also excited about 4/20: according to the below teaser for their new album, No Time to Bleed, they’ll release a new song, the appropriately titled “Lifted,” on 4/20. So I guess we know what the Monday Song to Get Stoned To will be!

No Time to Bleed comes out June 30 on Century.

this will either make or break this band for me, I like their last album, but I hope their not a one trick pony, hopefully this new song is as good as the last album!

Can’t wait to check this out. Suicide Silence is my favorite Century band.

  • Gordon Bombay

I thought the last album was repetitive but decent, II hope this album is good, people forget these guys are young and their style is still evolving. Hail the Leaf

I know this has nothing to do with suicide silence, but i won the protest the hero tickets!!! AAAAAAAAH

  • Gormlet

Ever since I read a review for their album “The Cleansing” on TreehouseOfDeath.com, I never bothered to check these guys out. Can anybody defend this band for me?

  • Is this a joke?

Suicide Silence fucking sucks. This is most certainly not Monday’s song to get stoned to. How dare you insult the most sacred of days!

  • Cody

  • COSK

I think this album, whether you like SS or hate em, will greatly impact whether or not the deathcore is still the mainstream metal format. I mean you look at all the deathcore bands that have made a name for themselves,All shall perish, as blood runs black, job for a cowboy, bring me the horizon, whitechapel (dont genre-trash me here I think these bands are deathcore)…blah blah blah, they have all have failed to put out a follow-up album(or a good one) or have changed they way they sound(ASP BMTH JFAC), SS are one of the most popular deathcore bands out there (dont know why if you ask me but still…), so if this album blows, then I think more bands will decide to shift their sound.

  • THE CARL

i dont understand how you can say deathcore (I fucking hate that word) is the “mainstream metal format, i mean obviously everyone hates it. AND every single band that has ever walked the earth whether it be metal or fucking folk music has shifts their sound, its called evolving as a band.
