Decimate means to reduce by 1/10th (the clue is in the 1st part of the word - deci) - doesn't sound as impressive now does it? Not just a pop at Vince though, I'm also sick of metal lyricists & news reporters in the Middle East using the word incorrectly - some people need to read more rather than hear a word in a film & think "that sounds like a good word, I'll use that" without knowing its true meaning.
