Of course Testament is underrated and under appreciated. That's not news. Bostaph joining the band made them even MORE excellent. The Formation Of Damnation is 2 times the album Death Magnetic is.

Just had to vent. Testament kicks ass on a daily basis.

Considering The Legacy is easily twice as good as any other Testament album, I don't see how the setlist can be criticized. Still need to hear this one, but I agree w/ Prosthetic--fuck off to spit shined, over produced "live" albums.

I bought the original Eindhoven cassette way back then, and I thought it sounded great. Dumped it into my computer 7 or 8 years ago, and it still sounds great.

We certainly appreciate the review, but we feel that saying the sound sucks is a bit harsh. Granted, this certainly isn't a typical studio-polished, overdubbed live CD...but that's a good thing, right? (Finally, a live album that's actually live!)

For anyone who's on the fence, we posted a track from this album a few weeks back at www.myspace.com/prostheticreissues -- check it out and judge the sound quality for yourself.

So, Testament are underrated and didn't get their rightful place in metal's history, yet Souls of Black was terribly produced, Demonic was "sucky" and The Ritual was excellent but somehow "ill-fitting", whatever that might mean? Anso, you're a walking enigma.
