Our hetero life partners are Metal Injection have captured some typically testicle-tickling footage of Genghis Tron, Tombs, Wetnurse and Black Anvil at a recent “Show No Mercy” gig – the concert writer Brandon Stosuy puts on in Brooklyn one Sunday out of every month.

Here’s a sample – more specifically, Genghis Tron performing one of my most favoritist songs of theirs, “Ride the Steambolt.” Go here to check out more awesome clips of GT as well as Tombs, Wetnurse and Black Anvil!

    Like every MetalInjection video….buffering buffering buffering….play for 3 seconds….buffering.

Oh, you tell me there is a song in there? I couldn’t tell.

I never ran into these problems before. What part of the country/world are you from and whats your internet connection?

      • Elpants

I’m in Idaho, Boise State University to be specific. I average 10MB/s download speed otherwise.

          Thats a speedtest.net average…

Well thanks for the alert! We have been dumping archives of video onto Amazon’s S3 servers (which are crazy fast), I just did a dump of our most recent videos, so hopefully it will go faster for you now.

it sounds like someone learned how to play Simon like a musical instrument, adding cookie monster vocals, and noise.

This video sucks. BUT Genghis Tron is a fucking awesome band. There don’t really seem to be many good quality live videos of them out there. I saw them in Philly a couple years ago and they were amazing live.

GT are, indeed, fantastic. I saw them open for Dillinger Escape Plan a while back, and it was mind blowing. Pretty much none of us in the crowd knew who they were at that point, but everyone’s jaws dropped not even halfway into their first song.
