Why should it sound very much like their earlier material? That was over 15 years ago. And I think it shows a good bit of artistic integrity to forgo the possibly lucrative reunion tour to record some new material that will almost certainly fail financially. I doubt they got paid much back in the day anyway... I think the album is very good, in spite of it careening off into the Twilight Zone at the end.
