Big Business killed it in my town a few weeks ago despite sound problems and a virtually empty venue. Tweak Bird surprised me with a short set of head-nodding tunes which were pretty cool. The highlight of the show was definitely Coady Willis…that guy is an animal on the drums!

Big Business sounded great at this show; much better than the Union Pool gig on Saturday. New songs sounded dope live, too.

and no, I don’t think the Merc Lounge show was just an “off night” for Tweakbird. They sucked hard at the UP show as well.

I’m pretty stoked to hear Mind the Drift. Not everything has to be the same as everything before. Look at Crack the Skye. It rules and it’s different.
Big Business is amazing.
I might just listen to Mind the Drift today.

Couldn’t disagree with you more, Gary, at least as far as the Austin show went. I’m a Big Business fanatic, and I’ll venture to say it was the least interesting show of theirs I’ve ever seen. Tweak Bird, on the other hand, was totally amazing. They killed.
