Just because they released it doesn't mean they are "in bed" with RR and Warner they just saw it as a worthwhile investment, even if it only ends up for one album which if it does will basically mean that Daath did really well. Now I'm not a music lawyer or anything but I'm pretty sure that's the gist of it right there.
