i keep trying to post on this shit and it doesnt ever show up. i saw these assholes at some no name venue in the middle of nowhere jersey, and i can not fucking believe that not only did these talentless hacks act like they owned the place and treated everyone accordingly, but the hairy behemoth of a sasquatch “vocalist” if you want to use the term loosely shows up with this blonde that was to my suprise totally fucking hot. like real hot, obvuously to hot for that loser and this guy paid more attention to his bandmates then this broad. she must be stupid or a hooker because there aint no way a girl looking like that actually chooses to be with a douchebag of that magnitude. i hope she was a hooker because it makes me want to kill myself to think that fucking chick would choose to be treated like shit from a hairy talentless pig squealing retard. if you are reading this hot blonde from new jersey- dump that loser and get in touch with me, at least i have a job and it aint with fucking amway.

although this article is over a year old and i just so happened to come across it (and im probably certain somebody has mentioned this a few times before) how do you categorize a genre based on the way someone is dressed. i mean really, i love waking the cadavar. music like that is different. i like the slam/deathgrind sound. but to call them wigger slam because they dress like that is fucking stupid. p.s. who the fuck cares what they think about gays. gays are like wasps if we leave them alone, they will leave us alone. and every now and then, there is always 1 or 2 that try to getch’ya out of nowhere. just saying. getch’ya pull -alex jespersen

Nu-metal 95-present, Slam death metal 91- present, wigger slam 97-present, fast slam/ epic slam (brutal slamming death metal) 97-present. So how does that work? isnt slam already Slamming brutal death metal, so how can there be brutal slamming brutal death metal, anyways man, its cool, Im just not big on deathcore at all, I hate hardcore, and it stems from that, you dont have to agree with me. I didnt mean deathcore is not influenced by slam, I meant slam has no deathcore influences, im just saying thats how I feel. In all fairness, a band like Devourment sounds nothing like whitechapel for instance, to me.

I do not agree with you on awaiting the autopsy nor begging for incest being WTC clones, assuming that Brutal slam infeluences have been around since way before this band even started. I also disagree that there is no influence at all with deathcore when there is a whole section of slam. Deathcore, doesn’t have any drive only if you listen to the ones that cash in for the breakdowns. But deathcore like Despised Icon is alright, it is groovy and it does the job, apply slams to this you have brutal slam.

BFI and AFAA are WTC clones almost, Im not a fan of these guys at all. Human Rejection are cool, but grow kinda tiring, Im a member of the Slam death metal group on last.fm :D.

I find that deathcore and slam are not similar due purely to the sound, deathcore has no intensity or drive, and the grooves are poor, whereas slam has a shitload of all three.

Waking The Cadaver are not Slam Death Metal, they are brutal deathcore, which is a new one, but fuck it.
Slam Death Metal and deathcore are nowhere near alike, apart from the small factor that they both slow down sometimes, one breaks down, the other slams, which is different.

Listen to Human MIncer, Devourment, Abominable Putridity, Cephalotripsy and Katalepsy and see what I mean.

Wigger slam is just another name for Slamming Brutal Death Metal. People on hear don’t realise that waking the cadaver are not slam death metal, they are deathcore, and shit, trying to hard to be brutal deathcore doesnt equal slam death metal.

Check out some slam death metal bands for yourself and see that they don’t sound like they have the -core influences of deathcore.

You want to know what wigger slam and deathcore is:

Okay here we go…

Wigger slam came out of the woodwork (now look at all the homosexual references i am going to put here) in its traditional form around 1997. Firstly, called by a magazine called ‘Southern *racist word goes here* Musik’ and hit the scene over in europe/america by storm…The second wave was the ‘popular wave of wiggers’, namely Waking the cadaver [who are not slam death metal/wigger slam in anyway shape or form] and Infernal Relvulsion (who are japanese and put back the true meaning of wigger slam into the frame).

Now the history is out of the way lets focus on what it is. Wigger slam is a simple format of slam death metal, slam death metal traditionally (Devourment, internal bleeding ect) is usually a build to the slam, but wiggers don’t do that and just go in with down tuned D-minor riffs with complimentary inhales (often called ‘Guttural’) at a crappy production. The style of wear is only a quater of what it is, that metal inquit..whatever person is totally and utterly insane. He has no clue why it came out of and where it comes from.

Important bands: Entorturement, Devourment, Infernal Revulsion, Gorevent

Deathcore: ‘brutal deathcore’ is what WTC is nowadays but ironically made wigger slam noticiable to alot of people. Strange right? Anyway, deathcore uses simple riffs that imitate breakdowns from suffocation and this was formed by Job for a cowboy (or my understanding of that scene, apparently it might be a band called Aciaia or some shit like that) this bombarded into subs off deathcore. Like brutal deathcore and tech deathcore sounding very similar to slam death metal aswell. That having splits within the genre with guttural slamming brutal death metal, wigger slam, tech slam and cornfield slam…(have you caught up yet?) So, basically these scenes are completely different and in many minds people don’t know enough to speak fluently about them. Even I learn new shit about this genre everyday and i am the person that reviews the new shit dailly.
