1. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they all reek of shit.
2. Whatever happened to people avoiding what they dislike rather than fucking bitching about it all day long on the internet? YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL. YOUR OPINION MEANS FUCK ALL.
3. If you dig IWABO, enjoy this. If you don’t, fucking close the window and move on. Every second you spend fuming and venting over how bad this band is, is another second of your life that slips away being wasted on something you shouldn’t care about. I don’t like reality TV, I haven’t owned a TV for three years. Problem solved. I don’t go turn on a TV, watch the latest Survivor Uzbekistan, and then log onto the internet to bitch about it all day. I just don’t fucking bother.
4. I’ve wasted five minutes of my life posting this, if only to maybe spark some realization in maybe one person, hopefully many more that it is pointless to stress out and whine all over the internet.
5. Everything is a “fad”. Everything. Get over it. Do what you love, surround yourself with what makes you happy. Stop pissing all over everyone else’s entertainment because you think your opinion and view are more valuable than theirs. You don’t log onto a Art website and say that Picasso couldn’t draw a straight line with a ruler or that Van Gogh’s brushing technique was subpar. Music is no different, if its not your fucking cup of tea, don’t drink it. Music is Art, Art needs no explanation. Deal.

I have to admit, at times that girl sounds ferocious. Other than that, this isn’t for me. Seems like there’s just too many “more technical than your mother” type bands out there to keep up with/give a shit about.

Have to respectfully disagree with your feelings, Axl. I saw these guys at the NEMHF this year, although “saw” implies that I watched their whole set. I was intrigued when the singer came out in a Furby costume, but was not impressed at all with their first song. I’m not one to give up on a band after only one song, but in this case, I should have broken my own rule. The second song was worse than the first, and I went upstairs in search of better music after the third song.

I have no problems with hipsters playing metal (as gnarlk alludes to above), but if you’re gonna make yourself a target by playing metal and dressing like a hipster, you better do a damn good job with your music. Otherwise, people are not going to come even close to giving you the benefit of the doubt when they realize that not only is your image something they can’t connect to, but your music happens to suck as well.

Yeah, I get that feeling a lot. They almost seem to be mocking their listeners simply by making the music they do. I hoped they would take themselves more seriously with their Century debut, but so far it doesn’t look like it.

Interesting band. I read up on them, and watch many of their videos. They do have a lot of energy, but I find their over the top humor tiring. Its almost like this is one big joke for them. Probably is since they came out of nowhere, and they are living it up while they are still popular.
