SEVER YOUR REALITY WITH A NEW WARBRINGER VIDEO

I don’t have a lot to say about Warbringer’s new, David Brodsky-directed video, “Severed Reality,” other than it seems like a throwback to those old thrash videos where the band is playing live and the crowd is just murdering one another (Exodus’ “Toxic Waltz,” etc.). That’s not a shock, given that pretty much everything about Warbringer is a throwback… but that doesn’t make the video any less cool.

Warbringer’s new album, Waking into Nightmare, was released yesterday on Century and was produced by – speak of the devil! – Exodus’ Gary Holt.

Awesome video and a cool band. The heavy part around 2 minutes in is the best. These guys do thrash right!

  • Kevin

    Awesome.
There new stuff is soo much better.

true. not too big on the retro thrash thing, but they might just win me over. that heavy break sounds like demolition hammer, and it doesn’t look like they hide that influence… homeboy even kinda sounds like steve reynolds.

That was fucking awesome!! Warbringer is one of the best of the neo-thrash group. I’d love to see them live!!

Speaking of neo-thrash bands live, Toxic Holocaust next Friday should be awesome!

This vocalist needs some facial hair asap before he’s mistaken for one of the Jonas Brothers.
Good song though, it’s always good to see some pure old-school thrash in today’s core crowded market.
So Warbringer, come back down from the plank, ye pantaloons stay dry for now.

I felt a touch of deja vu and remembered hearing “Pirahna” for the first time while watching this video. that is a compliment, by the way.

Sweet. I’m really digging some of these new thrash bands!

  • Metal Fuckin’ Dave
