POISON WILL PERFORM AT THE TONY AWARDS

Yes, the Tony Awards. Like the Oscars, only even gayer.
The band, whose song “Nothing but a Good Time” is featured in the Tony-nominated “Broadway smash” Rock of Ages, will perform said number alongside the cast of that show, according to Variety.
The show will be hosted by Doogie Howser Neil Patrick Harris, and other performers will include… Liza Minnelli.
In other news, Sebastian Bach is jealous.

This actually makes a lot of sense. Actors sometimes wear women’s clothing and make up; so does Poison. Touche’ Bret Michaels’ agent!
I always thought Ricki Rockett would fit in among Broadway types…the picture bears that out.
I know I’ve stated this elsewhere on these pages – today, even – but aging rock stars DO look like old lesbians.

It’s really a case of who isn’t wearing a wig in that picture.
This is just about right for Poison, after they sold their soul by touring with Def Leopard it wasn’t a far leap to broadway.
I”d say that is the other way around! Def Leppard continues to rock, and Poison sold their soul when Brett Michaels started appearing on VH1.
