THE COVER ART FOR MUNICIPAL WASTE’S MASSIVE AGGRESSIVE IS AGGRESSIVELY AWESOME

I saw Municipal Waste live on that Lamb of God tour last month, and I have a whole new level of respect for these dudes. The band’s latest, Massive Aggressive, comes out August 25 on Earache, and I, for one, am pretty friggin’ excited.

Check out the artwork below… it’s so metal I could tie it around Lars Ulrich’s legs and sink that fucker to the bottom of the ocean.

    You have got to be kidding me? This band has no talent whatsoever and every single one of their songs follows the same tempo. I saw them at the LOG tour, they had maybe three cool riffs the entire set list.

    these guys suck, i also saw them at lamb of gods tour and they stunk the show up, nowhere as good as god forbid(who had to go ahead of municpal waste for some reason) they were the lowest point in the entire concert

    are you kiding me this is the possibly one of greatest thrash bands of our time and they put on the craziest shows ever if you see them in jam packed indoor venues. “Municipal Waste is gonna fuck you up” queted from born to party

      I remember them playing a song with that quote. It was boring and sounded like shit. All the songs sounded the same to me. They did seem to have some good fans though, keeping the energy high.

      Just not my cup of tea i guess.

    Looking forward to this one. I hope its a bit better than Art of Partying which I don’t enjoy as much as Hazardous Mutation. Am a fan of these guys for sure.

    Let’s stop the whole argument over Thrash bands not being good or whatever before it starts. Thrash is thrash…these days it’s all about playing fast and (in MW’s case) partying. I think it’s gotta be somewhat tough to put out new albums when your main lyrical themes involve partying, beer, partying, and crazy shit.

    i gotta say being a huge fan of both bands i like municipal waste way better than LOG went to one of their shows about a month ago and it was fairly dissapointing
