SO CLEARLY THE NEW MASTODON VIDEO IS GONNA BE THE GREATEST THING EVER

I don’t usually like to post these so-called “trailers” for upcoming metal videos because I just find the idea of a 30 second trailer for a three or four minute video just too silly for words. But I just saw this “trailer” for the new Mastodon video for the totally awesome song “Oblivion,” and I’m already more excited for this than I am for most of the big summer movies that still have yet to be released.

Holy shit, this just looks like it’s gonna be so much fun. I can’t wait.

    i think mastodon’s videos usually suck (i liked divinations though). i still have low expectations for this one. would’ve been nice if they had gone all out for a scary Event Horizon type of space video. >:]

      I kinda agree with you. They don’t sucks that much (except for Blood&Thunder), but they are far from being a solid visual presentation for their awesome music.

        i couldn’t listen to the song and watch the video because the video ruined the song for me
