I love this band and have been waiting all winter for this album to drop. This is one of those bands that sound better than they look for sure, Dez always seems to be a ham in front of the camera. And the special FX are way over the top. This is why I think the ‘Clouds Over California’ video is by far the best, cuz you hardly see the band in it. Still, these guys are leagues beyond most bands, they have some pretty awesome beliefs, and don’t seem a bit interested in turning radio, so long live Devildriver!

just giving the album another listen.. the last minute of ‘ive been sober’ is actually great. bascially all the starts are worth listening to and the song ‘Forgiveness is a Six Gun’ is actually one of the best songs ive heard in a good few weeks, the atmospheric part about half way through is like wow

much better songs than pray for villains on it

basically dez sounds the same but theres arnt as many catchy songs becuase of his vocals (e.g. GRIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNFUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKEDDDDDD) , drumming is still awsome, the guitars seem to stand out much more and bass is the same

it a good album to just put on loud and forget about it, then every now and again youre like wow this is good. not for 1 second did i think it was shit

as a metal head, I like to see the way the music progresses, and i wouldnt say that this song brings anything new or creative to the genre, so i wouldnt find it as anything special. just another “been done before” thing. i still respect them, theyre still good. just saying..
