bands like Norma Jean, Bleeding, Through, A Life Once Lost, Dillinger Escape Plan, Fear Before, Chariot put out amazing albums then they put out junior albums that sounded like soft alternative radio butt rock. I seriously hope Deathcore maintains the viciousness it still has. real legit Mathcore and Metalcore is practicly extinct with the exception of Converge and August Burns Red.

but about the album art, I really like the foreground.

Point being, when these bands were young, they were full of potential but still operating in an era of their own, which were (and still are for even younger bands) full of kids going to local VFW’s to hear breakdowns. Do I think its good or bad for a band to cater to what people want to hear (a frame of mind which is very unmetal)? Not for me to say. I am simply pointing out that in my opinion the reason why these bands evolve so quick is that when these bands get picked up by a label they are essentially given a kind of freedom of creativity, which they did not have when they were simply just trying to get a following.
