BITE THE HAND THAT BUSTS GHOSTS

The Ghostbusters video game is just meh, and the dudes who are writing Ghostbusters 3 also wrote Year One, which means – no shock here – Ghostbusters 3 will probably suck.

But at least we have ridiculous mash-ups like this to keep our love of Dr. Peter Venkman and company alive!

    The game isn’t meh, it’s a fun game, just flawed, though the Year One part depresses me.

    I would like to respectfully point out that Harold Ramis knows what the fuck he’s doing and I have no idea why he would touch that piece of shit Year One movie.

    He wrote some movies you might have heard of: Analyze This, Groundhog Day, Animal House, Duplicity, Caddyshack. So, you know, maybe it’s just a fluke.

    Don’t know what the deal with the game is though. I’ve heard nothing but good things.

    Ghostbusters game just meh? Well I haven’t finished it yet, maybe it will get boring but so far its been fun, and the graphics are pretty great (on xbox 360 at least).

    LOL, yeah those same dudes who wrote Year One also helped write, ummm the original GHOSTBUSTERS. Year one might suck but not every movie can be a winner.

    Well, would you be enjoying the game as much if it weren’t within the Ghostbusters universe? That’s basically what I’ve heard about it. That it’s really just the trappings of Ghostbusters that help put it above “meh”

    As for Year One, is that even out yet? Or are the metalsucks bloggers, once again, just making snap judgments based on the trailer so they can come across like whiny internet fanboys?

    I don’t know how Ghostbuster’s 3 will end up and I haven’t played the game….Ghosterbusters is a comedy classic though….

    That song really sucks but I used to like that cartoon when I was a kid, I had the action figures and the fire house
