BRUTAL

crude; coarse. harsh; ferocious.- of or pertaining to road injuries to Daath’s Eyal Levi
- Australia’s The Amenta. And why wouldn’t they be brutal? They’re on Listenable Records, after all. Catch ‘em on the “Monsters of Death” U.S. tour this fall with Vader, Decrepit Birth, Warbringer, Augury and Success Will Write Apocalypse Across the Sky.

That looks like a great tour. Too bad it’s during the week when it comes to the ATL.
Great band as well, The Amenta that is. I should pick up their CD.
They don’t have an album out yet, nevermind
Wrong again, they do have one out
suffering a case of triple personality disorder, eh?
haha
They have two albums out. I’ve been meaning to get to those. The tracks I’ve heard so far sound pretty good. Like a less-awesome, much more serious Strapping Young Lad.
Is that drum triggers, or just straight-up programmed drum tracks?
You know nothing.
either way they sound pretty lame. i hope they have a better drum sound live.

Nothing can be as clicky as Into Eternity’s “The Scattering of Ashes.” Good album, HORRENDOUS triggering. It doesn’t even sound like a bass drum. Obviously the drums are triggered, but most musicians/bands do that.
Every album you hear now is 100% sample replaced. So basically, the computer/engineer is playing the parts. Drummers are nothing nowadays.
Aside from cymbals, sorry.
Twas a good album, but yes horrible drum editing/sounds. And weak vocals for the most part.
Meh, I happen to really like Stu Block. I’ve seen them live twice, and they were amazing both times, especially vocally. Very fun band too. I love the “FUCK CANCER” chant they do.
At least we can agree that they are a good band. LOOK SOMEONE IS AGREEING WITH ZILTOID !!!!! WHOAAAA
3 albums? Mictlan/ Occasus/ N0N. Which one is this?
Probably N0N. Yah know.. since it says it on the bottom. Doi.
Both of their albums are amazing, but N0N is particularly good.
It’s as if Rhys Fulber and Nergal had a baby.
