Met him at the New England Metal Fest a few years ago. Great guy, funny as hell, and awesome vocalist.

this is top notch commentary about metal and the nola scene. this interview should be in a book — sad it’s hard to find people like Falgoust, with good vision and a great talk.

also new Goatwhore it’s the best album of the year so far. it just crushes.

thanks for this, David. really appreciate it. a metalsucks definite contribution for the metal zeitgeist.

That was a really good read! I always knew he/they were huge touring road warriors but he really is the true definition of the working musician. Dude is pulling off 40 hour work weeks and still keeping up a practice schedule and touring cycle for 2 road warrior bands. Sounds tiring just to read it.

I have massive respect for Falgoust and his two main bands, Soilent and Goatwhore, They tour heavily and they bring it on stage. Can’t wait to see Goatwhore next month, putting Abigail Williams to shame.

Watching an interview with Ben is what got me into Goatwhore (and Soilent Green) before I really sat down and listened to the music. Besides their influences, I was so impressed with how down to earth he was that I just knew I would like his stuff. Awesome band, awesome dudes!
