WILL THE NEW ALICE IN CHAINS ALBUM BE HEAVY AS FUCK?
Monday, June 29th, 2009 at 10:58am by Axl RosenbergHere’s another teaser for the new Alice in Chains single/video “A Looking in View.” We get to hear significantly more music than we did in the initial teaser, and all I can say is, holy SHIT does this sound heavy. I kind of assumed that for their comeback album, AIC would play it safe and make a very middle of the road hard rock record; if they actually made a full-on metal album, well, good for them.
The full video will apparently be released tomorrow. The album, Black Gives Way to Blue, will come out on Virgin on September 29.

Sounds pretty good, but it is only 30 seconds of it. I’m curious to see how they sound with this new singer.
Answer to your question: I won’t hold my breath for it, but I hope so. I saw them a few years ago with the new vocalist and he impressed me, believe it or not. And Jerry’s guitar lead that kicks in at 17 seconds has got me really excited.
Yeah that was good stuff, hopefully the rest of the song is gonna be kick ass too.

I saw them live 2 summers ago, new singer sounds exactly the same as Lane. Can’t wait!
