ANYONE INTERESTED IN DISCOVERING SOME GREAT UNSIGNED TECH METAL BANDS?

Our friends at Metal Injection tell us that our other friends at The Apparatus have compiled a 21 track collection of awesome songs by awesome unsigned tech metal bands. How much would you pay for this awesome comp? Five dollars? Ten dollars? Fifteen dollars?!?! Well, guess what, suckas: IT’S FREE! So you are actually, definitively, objectively a moron if you don’t download it.

        Nah mate, he’s right. I’ve never been more disappointed. I thought this was gonna be full of obscura/necrophagist/arsis wanabee bands which woulda been awesome. But no, I have just downloaded 21 discord-fuelled deathcore songs.

          i think you guys need to update you’re genre definitions. there is a difference between death metal and tech metal. also despised icon is deathcore do any of those bands sound similar to said band? No. this whole pigeon holing bands as deathcore trend needs to stop. that label is just absurd seeing how a majority (97%) of the bands with that label have neither core or death aspects. anybody who doesnt like a “deathcore” band because they are a “deathcore” band is just as trend follower as a kid in gym shorts and a flat brimmed hat. open you’re minds for a second.

You would think with the steady climb of musicianship in metal these days that singers would rise to the occasion.

    i liked the instrumental pieces best. every vocalist on that compilation sounded ridiculous and disgusting with the single-pitch screaming. doesnt that shit grate on your ears after a while?
