So. We’ve been lucky enough to hear rough mixes of Megadeth’s latest, Endgame, and I am fully prepared to declare it superior to both United Abominations and The System Has Failed. There are some really, really killer songs on the album, kiddies.
The head crushing first single, entitled, uh, “Head Crusher,” is available for free download right here. Check it out, then weigh in with your thoughts below.

Well…it sounds like Megadeth. But it sounds like GOOD Megadeth so I have no issues. I particularly like the circle pit inducing riff that pops up just after the 2 minute mark.
I love United Abominations, and I am also prepared to declare this album superior.
Headcrusher is a badass song. This is one of the albums I’m highly looking for to come out.
I’m not impressed, but it’s not bad or anything. It’s just another Megadave song, plain and simple. It sounds like it could’ve been one of the better tracks on UA, but that’s not saying much. Well, at least it’s better than Clip Magnetic.

Firefox 3.5 Shiretoko build. But that’s not the point: why would they authorize certain browsers and not others for a freaking MP3 download?
I’m using FF 3.5 (although I think it’s still one of the betas) and didn’t have any problems.

the song is cool, but I need to listen to the whole album to make a final judgement.
The album was going to be good anyways, Drover and LoMenzo are solid in their roles and Broderick is the best lead guitarist the band has had since Friedman.
I rather liked it.
In terms of Megadeth’s recent work, this is pants-shittingly good. Certainly their thrashiest work in a while. And I liked the last couple of albums.

Mustaine didn’t disappoint with this one. I’m interested to hear the rest of the album.
Ok, here’s my problem with new Megadeth. It is all kinda boring and samey. You know what? This song kinda sucks. You know why? Dave Mustaine won’t shut the hell up. Not a minute goes bye where he’s not yapping. Yap yap yap. Seriously, compare that to Holy Wars. There isn’t any singing for the first 3 minutes. The song would stand on its own as an instrumental. These new Megadeth songs…not so much. Dave just loves the sound of his own voice too much. Stick to making coffee, asshole.

Is it just me or do a lotta people think that they have heard this track millions of times before….
I mean its not bad & being a Megadeth fan for alomst 10 years now i’m gonna give this album a listen but theres nothing new in the track honestly….Been there done that….i guess.
megadeth is one of my favorite bands, UA was an awsome cd but endgame has Chris Brodereck, and hes gonna make this new cd one of MD’s best.
I’m a megadeth sucker, great song, but not too much..
Still, faaaar beyond better than anything “magnetical defunct”.
