Meshuggah….Hah. I don’t care what anybody says – they’re over rated. Yes they could be considered maybe the pioneers of the chug/ time signature movement in metal, But an album like Catch 33? Absolute bullshit. The first 9 songs are practically the same. Obzen was shit, Bleed was shit. Stupidly repetative. Fellsilent are a good band and are tight live. I’m looking foward to another release from FS.

-PS, the guy who compared Periphery to Meshuggah? Dick. Periphery are NOTHING like Meshuggah.

this guy is an idioit. Ancle is from fell silent. he is also in tesseract. They have almost the same exact sound, and you claim to have followed tesseract around in an earlier article. He is the main ingrediant in both bands. you dont know your metal (author of this article), go fucking do better research. dumb fuck.

wow. all you fucks who hate on this band have no idea what your talking about. agreed the video is not the greatest so what. its not really that important. i dont listen to them for the video. i listen to them because they write and play interesting, fresh, complex and heavy music. if immerse is the only song youve heard and you feel like criticizing them then you can go hang yourself. once you listen to the songs Drowned in my Enemy or Double Negative, or maybe the whole fucking album then you will change your mind. they are definitely not a rip off band of meshuggah. since when has it been a crime to play music influenced by your favorite bands. thats how its always been.and if it really bothers you that much, just dont listen to it and shut your fucking mouth, thats why i dont listen to bring me the horizon. fuck you people who hate and props to yalls who congradulate.

2 Vocalists has been explored, and on discovery, the added texture and rhythmical possibilities make it a worthwhile venture. Think back to the first bands that discovered having 2 guitarists opened the floodgates for harmony + depth, every band that did that afterwards couldnt be criticised with plagiarism!!
First album is commendable! New direction may well be needed though.

What fucking moron wrote this review?? You obviously dont know good, original, well-written music when you hear it. Anyone with an in-depth knowledge of music should be able to hear the uniqueness in Fellsilent’s songwriting style, and appreciate the musical ability even if its not to their personal taste. To go as far as call them Meshuggah rip-offs is just sheer ignorance. Mr Neilstein, I do believe you fail at music. Good day to you.

Fuck you man. These guys have been doing this stuff for 6 years, not following trends at all. They come from round where I live and have always been doing this, it just happens that this is what’s “in” right now. Everyone hated the music when they started but only came to their gigs cos they were the only decent band round here. In short:

I actually really like this song, and for ME personally – i love the breakdown vocals. Video does the job aswell. Lighting and camera shots are awesome, but agreed- probably could’ve used a more appropriate crowd.

Some of your negative comments above are more pretentious than Ghandi’s flip flop is dry..

“they EVEN have two vocalists like sikth”… oh dear, oh how much you have to learn. Now now, not every band who chugs and has 2 vocalists are copying previously successful bands? no?
