Shut the fuck up everyone, Kerry said during Christ Illusion that then he was going to try and make his solos more memorable which i read in an interview in a mag (i forget which one) that the interviewer to kerry said that he could almost sing kerry’s solos on Christ Illusion compared to previous albums, (i dont know if i could but there you go) And it was Rita who brought the CFH in the studio during the World Painted Blood sessions and wanted Kerry to play a solo on it but when Kerry realised it was set up to Dime’s specs and may have still had the strings he used on it last that Kerry decided he didn’t wanna mess with that. That’s what happened.

All you guys are ridiculous. How many of you can actually play guitar? I mean really, all you dingleberries are spouting nonsense about who’s got good riffs and solos and what not, but how many of you have any knowledge of music or even any concept of what is even going on? yes, I am saying that Pantera lacks aggression and pasion. They were always posers. They faked their way through whatever trend was big at the moment. their most “classic” record, Vulgar display of power is the perfect example of this. Is 13 year old macho posturing, backed by completely nuetered thrash riffs and special ed department drumming. its funny that the word “Vulgar” actually means “Common”. That is exactly what they were, trend following, populist musical waste.

I wasn't very enthusiastic about ''Christ Illusion'',not that I'm saying it's the worst metal album I've heard,but to me,it did sound like something about it was kinda forced.Lombardo has talked about this in some recent interviews.He hadn't been in the band for a very long time,at least not enough to feel like things were back to the way they were before the feuds started,and he even goes as far as saying that the album ''lacked something''.He definitely sounds thrilled about the new record,saying stuff like ''we really worked on this TOGETHER,listening to each other's ideas'' which is obviously going to sound more of a collective effort instead of a forced,''each of us is doing our thing to get through the damn recording already'' kind of vibe. Obviously somebody's gonna comment back to me,pointing out that every band that makes publicity for their record while finalizing it and also being on a small tour with Megadeth is obviously going to be thrilled out of their minds,but I'll reply that Slayer doesn't need any sort of publicity at this point,and I think they do know that the fans will each have their own opinions about the new material,regardless of how much the band is hyping it.

I have this feeling that a lot of what Kerry King does/says will always be twisted around to make it look like he’s an asshole.

Heck,if he and Dime were friends,let the dude speak his mind about his loss,and about the positive feeling it gives him to hold the guitar in his hands.I know I wouldn’t hesitate to speak my mind about this if I were him.It has to be a strong and inspiring feeling.
