I think its stupid for Ozzy to be limited to guitarists who already have established a reputation, even Randy Rhoads in quit diet was not at all what they make it out to be, jut a bunch of wankers, so with that said you can find dozens of guitar players on the internet who burn Gus G and the other rich kids like John 5 born into families with 5 maids, wake up Ozzy, if Ozz is expecting to pay anyone chump change like he did to Randy who never seen a cent or did his family from the millions of records sales then Ozzy better take the chance to find a great guitarists who can give him allot more then cheezy Bucket head or John red neck 5., i can find dozens on youtube alone.

We all know how bad an Ozzy album w/out Zakk writing it sounds…That piece of shit BLACK RAIN is awful. Why? Because Zakk didn’t write it!

C’mon already, Ozzy’s a friggin’ senior citizen, trying hard to remember how metal once sounded. Now his music just sounds like ‘classic rock’, and there’s no darkness or danger attached. The biggest mistake he made was allowing Sharon and the kids to film their life’s for MTV viewers……groundbreaking and money making for sure, but the cred has long since disappeared.
I’d rather hear fusion jazz than Ozzy & Zak together. Put it all to sleep forever, please!!

Who the hell even cares about Ozzy’s type of Metal these days? Same thing with Gene Simmons and Kiss. It’s all lukewarm, been done better (by Dio and Sabbath), and doesn’t resemble the metal of even 10 yrs. gone.
Gimme Oden Opeth, something Pagan instead. I don’t give a shit if you claim to be the Devil or antichrist. Prove yourself, muthafucka!! Don’t throw anti-xtian words at me, tell me where you stand!! Kill your guitars. Kill your roadies in a ritual sacrifice. Kill your band! Kill your listeners!! Finally, kill yourself already, goddammmit!!
The music’s worthless, as are the lyrics. Just crawl off and die. Take all you’re gtr , bass, keyboards, and drummers with you!! Make a final definitive statement!! Retire or die, Ozzy. You and your bandmates have no place further to go now.

Who c ares???? Ozzy’s been around forever and will have no problem fillin Zak’s empty gtr spot. Shit, a dead picker could produce similar results, and I’m not knocking Zak’s talents. Studio technology now enables players to be slow, out of tune, or off key. It can all be fixed in the studio w/Pro tools. It might be a bit harder live, but if Ozzy clicks with any player who needs a live gig, Zak won’t be missed a bit!! They said Ozzy was finished when Randy Rhodes died, but it wasn’t even close. Ozzy’s future will forever ride on the strength of Sabbath, some solo tracks, and any smokin’ hot guitarist…….I wonder if Eddie Van Halen’s available?!

I totally think your dead on with Gus G, because on Metal Injection Ozzy said he was getting a guitarist from Greece (the country, not the musical…lol) They’ve met before at Ozzfest in 2005 when he was Playing for Arch Enemy as a temporary replacement for Christopher Amott.

I agree. I like BLS a lot, but the last album was trash. I liked Mafia and they kicked ass live when I saw them a few years ago. I can’t defend the last effort though. Shot to Hell was total shit.

It sucks Ozzy fired Zakk by telling everyone else first, but it’s for the best. Ozzy will never make good music again and Zakk needs to make a great BLS album next time or he’s finished too.
