This band is OKAY. Prosthetic records is a decent label.
There are plenty of great bands popping up everywhere-somebody writing for metal sucks obviously is tight with somebody in the prosthetic camp.
This band sounds a bit like old armored saint I think meets angel witch doing thrash??
Just fast guitars and okay vocals….no hooks.
Not amazing and you can tell there are alot of effects on the vocals. I mean-there are worse bands out there doing this I guess but I do not see this band as anything too special.
A couple of those guys used to be in White Wizzard for a small time I read….I think the new recordings of White Wizzard after these guys are amazing. That band is going places. Also taking from alot of old bands, but they write great songs and have hooks everywhere.
I think White Wizzard is much better. The guitarist singer and bassist are amazing and on the same level as some of the best in the world.
If you have not heard it go to the my space and check out those 2 new songs 40 deuces and Over the Top. Cannot stop playing them.
This other band is good but not great IMHO.

The main complaint with all those “Re-Thrash” bands, as they’ve been labeled, is that they’re pretty much just ripping off the style without adding anything original and lack those great hooks. This band seems to be doing the same thing. If they’re trying to make a name for themselves they need to learn how to write an epic chorus or two.

They’ve played shows under the name Sorcerer. I guess they had to change their name when they signed. They even have that same promo photo with the Sorcerer logo.

They had played some shows. I’ve seen them. Even if they hadn’t, they were essentially another band already.

I agree completely.
Sumerian has good shit? This is news to me (besides Faceless who aren’t bad). Willowtip is one label that never disappoints. Ever. Seventh Rule Records is good. As is the new Path Less Traveled Records. I have no problem with Prosthetic either.
