While we all hold our breath and wait, here’s the cover for Dethklok’s The Dethalbum II, which comes out September 8 on Williams Street Records. Unfortunately the copy that was sent to us is teeny tiny. Hopefully we’ll get a better look soon.
And in case you’re wondering – yes, there is a “Murmaider II” on the record. Better than “Unforgiven IV,” I guess.

Cartoon is boring unfunny cliche-driven Negrounds Flash-animation bullshit and its music is disappointingly bland NuclearBlast/Century MediaxCore melodeath.
The first season was great. After that it did go downhill a bit. Definitely will never be as good as all 4 seasons of Home Movies were.
Home Movies was incredible. The dialogue in that show seemed like people were really in the same room with one another and bouncing off one another instead of having a set script with different people recording their lines in different booths and different cities.
that’s because they recorded it in the same studio o.O
A lot of it was improvised, too, and they would record the dialogue first before doing the animation. Plus Brendon and H. Jon have a great chemistry between them. The other voice actors were always great too, and they had good recurring guests like Mitch Hedberg and Jonathan Katz.
of course it’s improv, you can obviously tell. Jon Katz is the man!

You’ve really got to clarify which cluster of Newgrounds animators, as well, because there are some truly imaginative and brilliant artists on that site.

I’m guessing if your life was ended by mermaids in the original “Murmaider,” maybe they murder you once again in the afterlife in “Murmaider II.”
Somehow an SNL sketch comes to mind — one where Tim Meadows plays Puff Daddy, and he’s recording “Come With Me 2,” which is just him repeating “come with me” over a backing track of “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” by Aerosmith. The artist formerly known as Puff Daddy I’m sure would butcher “Murmaider 2.”
The show is suppose to come back in November and it is also suppose to be half an hour long this season

Sad thing is that a ‘fake’ band released an album that is 20 times better then most current metal bands out there these days. Brendan Small fucking slays on guitar also might I add.

Love the show and the music. I STILL throw in the first Dethalbum at least a couple times a month. I guess I am in the minority by thinking that the show is improving since the first season.
When I saw these guys live I understood why they had cartoon versions representing them. They have the charisma of a rock. An ugly rock.
