THE PEDAL TO THE METAL TOUR JUST GOT A LITTLE LESS DOPE

Our friends at Metal Insider made an interesting discovery over the weekend: Dope are no longer listed on the bill for the upcoming Pedal to the Metal tour. The tour is being headlined by Mudvayne and also features Black Label Society and Static-X.

MI wonders aloud if Dope have been kicked off the tour; I would obviously love if it that were the case, but I fear that the official explanation will be considerably less entertaining.

Still, for the sake of amusing myself, I’d like to pretend that Dope have been kicked off the tour (I’d also like to pretend that Static-X have been kicked off the tour, but I have no basis for that fantasy right now). So, to that end, I’d just like to serenade the members of Dope with this little ditty:

HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA, YOU GOT BOOTED, HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA, YOUR BAND SUCKS.

    Awful, awful band. I’d say that tour just became better, but they’ve still got Static X on the bill.
    Oh Mudvayne, how you have fallen. LD 50 was awesome, at least they’ve got that.

    I happened to go to that tour and I loved it, it was my first rock concert. With or without Dope, it was an awesome fucking show.

    i was at the tour in youngstown ohio.. the whole show felt like i was at a small bar in some small town. mudvayne was the shiznits bls (get over your self zack) its not all about u…. static x had the best sound out of all of them playing….other then that never again.. will i pay to see some bands. better off going to a rap concert :(

    Man if any one should have been kicked off the tour its Suicide Silence. The fucking sucked. Everyone put on an amazing show except them, they cant play and the lead singer sure as hell cant do anything worth while. I went to the show and It was alot of fun up until suicide silence. I would have loved to see Dope play there and I know there were alot of people there that would disagree with the claims here. And Mudvayne was unimpressive. They sound better on cd and I enjoy them better that way.
