Am I the only one who can’t get into this band? I really gave them a chance. I will check anything out once or even a few times. Animals as Leaders is pretty boss but this stuff in my opinion is kinda meh worthy. Especially after reading about them not knowing about Danzig and everyone else i’m kind of dumbfounded. I guess you can’t really fault them for being young but they seem like they have a shitty attitude towards maybe learning who some of these people are. That whole story about the mansion just kinda solidifies that opinion for me. Let’s look at the facts, they got wasted, some dude passed out naked, all of this after the girls asking them not to drink their dad’s alcohol, and then he choked her out. I’m pretty sure that even if he was offended at her saying that he had a tiny penis he could have just been like, ok fuck you and left, being that they were being disrespectful the whole time. My long drawn out point is they kinda seem like they have a shitty attitude towards life and are more concerned with getting wasted and being shit heads to people and coming off as shit heads.

right on..they must feel like they’re too good to even think about the bands and musicians from earlier generations who sculpted the metal we see today. but i think when they grow up a bit. they’ll soon learn that they wouldnt be playing the music they playing now if it werent for “those bands” they just dont give a fuck about.

wow…i’ve played shows with them and their bass player fucks at least 1 groupie at every show…they’re all pieces of shit who get super fucked up and attempt to play a show, they don’t care how shitty and sloppy it is. I got into metal because of people that are wastes of life like them…and its sad that summerian has really good respectable bands like after the burial, veil of maya, and the faceless when some douche bags who can’t even write their own music come along and overshadow all of them. when i saw them on summer slaughter in chicago everyone around me was talking shit about them, it’s sad that they can’t even impress a local audience. Born of Osiris makes me sick.

Absolutely. At the very least check out the bands who paved the way for you. The internet is everywhere; there’s no fucking excuse to have not heard of Fear Factory, Danzig, Gorgoroth, etc. It’s as simple as just asking other metal musicians “so what are you into? Any bands I should check out?” You don’t have to own their entire discographies, but for fuck’s sake, at least have heard of them.

i’ve smoked fat blunts and many many many bowls with born of osiris at emerald city death fest seattle washington 2008 before and after the show… i know i’m amazing, and while smoking with them i gotta listen to the entire new cd a higher place 7 months before it was released… i think that was a pretty epic concert i must say
