FUCK YOU, AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND

Reader Ben Keegan has shit all over my day by alerting to me to the fact that Megadeth and Slayer are teaming up for another tour… not, once again, not in the States.

No, this one will take place in Australia and New Zeland, so only Peter Jackson and all of Britain’s criminals can enjoy the gigs. Lucky fuckers.

Jesus fucking Chris, Megadeth and Slayer. I thought we were friends. Do I throw awesome parties and not invite you? No. You’re always invited. Why would you do this to me? Why? WHY?!?!

Anyways, hopefully these tours continue to do well, and at some point someone decides them to bring to the US. Because otherwise, I fear no amount of vaporizing in the world will cure my heartbreak. Frowny face.

      WHAT!? Thats no reason to pass by a band like Megadeth lol Their music is brilliant and full of great riffs, and Mustaine’s voice is very unique too, id at least give them a shot one day (preferably their older stuff) or the new one on their myspace is pretty good…and btw, Mustaine isnt his old self anymore (not being drunk and arrogant all the time makes him much nicer) and plus, I’m sure its been tough living in the shadow of Metallica since he was kicked out many years ago

    They’re hardly touring New Zealand – we get one show in Auckland, which is 12 hours drive from where I am. Come on guys, why aren’t you playing in Wellington? We’re the capital for fuck sakes! Almost doesn’t feel like the same country when it’s in Auckland, for the cost to get there and stay it might as well be fucking Australia.

We only get a few good gigs in Australia each year. And this one one will go off! (PS: Don’t vaporise-and-blog… or at least proof-read!).

    Just saw Dream Theater in Orlando on Saturday. If you plan on going, you’re in for a hell of a show, Wizard. They opened with A Nightmare To Remember and closed with The Count of Tuscany. Perfection. Hopefully you guys won’t have to suffer through Zappa plays Zappa or Big Elf. Ugh.

    So the first few deth cd’s were decent, but I really don’t see why everyone thinks they are so great.
    The best thing Mustaine has done for music was to take Dream Theater and Nevermore out on tour with him in my opinion.
    Don’t get me wrong, I respect Megadeth and it’s longevity, i’m just not a huge fan.
