Hornsup editor Matheus Moura sent me the below picture this morning of the suddenly-quite-popular-amongst-pedophilic-metalheads Demi Lovato.

And I’m all for welcoming new people into the metal community and I understand that the children are our future who will keep metal alive and blah blah blah, but this is just… wrong. And not in a good way.

      I realized something last night, the three bands they mentioned oughta be licking their chops. if they are smart they do a duet with her. She is the key for the next big movement of metal. It might not be my generation that likes metal but the younger generation she can change really quickly and i gurantee you the more public she goes about metal the better. And if you say that all those bands suck, well maybe but it is a stepping stone for them to get into better metal.

    I can fantasise about Lovato all I want and not feel guilty, because my country’s laws can’t do nothing about it. Then again, I don’t go for deathcore fans – a shitty taste in music is a turn-off.

    That picture looks like it may’ve been Photoshopped at one point, because the JFAC print looks like it was superimposed on the black shirt. And what’s with the weird glove, belt and pre-ripped denim? Yuk.

        I listened to their newest when it was streaming on MySpace. It’s not deathcore, I know, it’s now very uninspiring and very boring death metal instead.

    Anyway, Abigail Williams is good. That vid posted here yesterday is classy black metal. The singer could at least use a touch of corpse paint or a spike or two though…
