that’s exactly how lars is portrayed by many: a self-righteous drunk asshole. however, the story above has nothing on comedian jim bruer’s tales hanging out w/ lars. months back on the stern show he was telling wild stories about other famous ppl he’s hung out w/ (including voice impressions as well). long story short bruer goes out drinking w/ lars, some kid (who doesn’t recognize him) asks lars for a cig, lars flips out and tells him how hard he works for his $ (!!!), kid leaves politely, lars takes this bookbag w/ hundreds worth of college textbooks (which bruer found on the street and intended to return to the owner) and runs outdoors throwing these books everywhere yelling at the kid saying stuff like “here’s your fuckin’ books asshole! later they are walking to a different place… lars, who doesn’t stop walking for oncoming traffic, almost gets hit by a cab. so he jumps on the hood and yells at the driver. great guy, huh? as funny as it is, it might be an exagerration. but i believe it.

i bet if lars chatted with every tom dick and harry who come up to him on any given day he wouldn’t have time to take a shit. i give him the benefit of the doubt considering no one knows if he was really being an asshole or not, maybe it was a misunderstanding. we only go by this dudes story so…

i also would like to mention i don’t give 2 tumbling fucks about lars, i just assume other dude got butt hurt that the drummer from metallica didn’t notice him the first time.

I dig EoDM… their name is great, considering they’re not even remotely death metal, and they’ve got some great, catchy stuff.

I’m impressed that he didn’t even mention the whole ‘Pigeons of Shit Metal’ crack Axl made when he kicked them off his tour after the first show. But hey, everyone knows Axl Rose is a douchehose by now anyway.
