yeah dude, Jordan had a big keyboard solo that led into Erotomania at the show i was at in Asheville. towards the end he started using the iPhone and it was fucking amazing; sounded a lot like a Kaoss pad. he also had a big tv behind him with a cartoon version of himself that mimicked what he was playing on the keys, and it even started dualing him with prerecorded samples. needless to say, that show fucking slayed

What we have learned from this is that if something makes noise Rudess can play the shit out of it. The dude solos on a fucking iPhone. It’s equal parts awesome, hilarious and retarded. But since it’s JR you can’t really knock it.

all i have to say on the subject is that i was at prog nation last night in CT and rudess used the iphone app to end off his keyboard solos in A Rite of Passage and Beyond this Life and it was fucking awesome. A FUCKING IPOD SOLO??? idk what theyre gonna come up with next, but if u hav skills like JR, then sure, drop 10 bucks on it and rock out
