OZZY APPEARS IN PROPHETIC SAMSUNG AD

Dan Rodriguez at Metal Insider, where I first saw the below, wonders if the ad is “poking fun” at the Ozzy guitarist search, but I’m fairly certain it’s just a very, very unfortunate coincidence. As far as whether or not the “chimp’s name is a shot at Mr. E. Lee,” well, I would actually believe that.

    If i was Jake i would sue the fuck out of ozzy.What pure disrespect. I have been a long time Sabbath/Ozzy fan but i think ive had enough of ozzy and his wife and their complete disrespect for the people that helped make his career. He has shit on almost every musician that has played in bands with him. Come to think of it he acts like every singer i have ever dealt with in my 30 years as a musician. Lead singers disease is a motherfucker.

    Are we really overreaching here? How is it all a dig on Jake E. Lee? Just because the monkey’s name is Jake doesn’t mean it’s an insult. Besides do you really think Ozzy/Sharon wrote the commercial? I highly doubt that.

    Also, Lee can’t sue Ozzy; not for this anyways. There’s no basis or proof that the monkey is supposed to be Lee, so it’s not libel or anything of that nature.

    The way Hate Machine talks leads me to believe hes a bassist. bassists are always whining about singers and lead guitarists.

      That was in no way shape or form funny.

      Anyway on to my comment, I doubt this is a shot at Jake E. Lee As mentioned before I doubt that Ozzy/Sharon even wrote this comercial.
