The band’s latest, Retribution, comes out September 15. A little birdie told me it’s heavy as fuck.
Shadows Fall just announced a tour with Five Finger Death Punch. Well, nobody’s perfect.

Lame video, good song
Song is good. The concept is good. Most metalheads watch UFC so it makes sense to tap into that.
However, Shads is a bit late with this video. Five Finger Death Punch has done this (almost identical video!) about a year ago, and I mean IDENTICAL minus the stupid Affliction shirts. Look it up on youtube or something. The Way Of The Fist video is exactly like this, I mean to the T ! It was on Headbanger’s Ball for months, I’m surprised that Shads would miss that… still good song.
Wow, wonder how much Affliction paid to have their shit shirts shoved in front of the camera for 50% of the video.
Fuck this band. They’ve been musically dead since the Art of Balance.

You people are ridiculous. The video is actually amazing due to the fact that metal is the tough as fuck music. Fighting and generally acting tough as shit is generally the image for it. Would you prefer that guy from the start of Metal: A Headbangers journey was running around in it? Tight zebra print? How’s that for gay? As for the song, Shadows Fall is actually amazing considering the other “metal” bands running around. Looking at Attack Attack i’d say these guys are kind of a blessing. Obviously we all want to hear the metal from the good ol’ days, but then that would get pretty generic as well wouldn’t it? Maybe the clean parts are a little queer but nothings perfect. And Five Finger Death Punch is actually nothing that deserves to be put down at all. Should be thankful for them to.
I’m gonna go ahead and get this outta the way before I comment, I’m a huge MMA fan and train martial arts and I love Shadows Fall. So you think I would love this video. But I don’t. It’s gay. Although I will give it credit for having an actual MMA fighter in it (Babalu Sobral). Song is cool though, I hope this album is better than Threads of Life.
