EXCLUSIVE FREE MP3 OF WEEKEND NACHOS’ “NIGHTS”
Friday, August 14th, 2009 at 2:00pm by MetalSucks
Chicago’s Weekend Nachos play furious, grimy, fuck-you Hardcore with a capital “H,” and they ended up being one of the stand-out bands on last year’s Scott Hull compiled This Comp Kills Fascists. Now the band has a jugular-ripping good new album, Unforgivable, dropping September 1 on Relapse, and your Uncles Axl and Vince have your first taste: a free mp3 of the track “Nights.” Is it pretty? Hell no. Does it absolutely kill? Hell yes.
You can pre-order Unforgivable here. Weekend Nachos head out on tour at the end of August; check out their MySpace page for a complete list of dates.

meh……
Agreed
it starts off good but descends into overdone d-beat territory quickly. then the middle and end are good again. weird…
Trash it
ehhh….. ok ill take it
I love this band. But I don’t expect dudes that are only into metal to get it/enjoy it
Yawn. Hardcore and the culture surrounding it is shit.
pretty badass
Yeah, I love the menacing intro to this tune. It’s nothing unique, but really sets you up for the faster parts.
SEPT. 4TH, ROCKSTAR BAR
WEEKEND NACHOS
THE COMMUNION
UNMEN
FUCKING GO ALREADY!
Also, Nights is a POOR single to represent this album, it’s the only song that sounds more like traditional hardcore rather than sludgy power violence.
This Comp Kills Fascists Vol 1 is fucken amazing!!
Weekend Nachos kick ass, but I didn’t enjoy this song as much.
Best album cover since Made Out of Babies’ “Coward”.
Looks like a BRUJERIA cover to me!
damn awful!
I just… I just can’t bring myself to listen to a band called Weekend Nachos.
I love 21-22 year scene kids, who buy a Magrudergrind record or this band for example. Then end up telling you, that albums such as Inhale/Exhale by Nasum or Horrorified by Repulsion are pure shit according to them. Or they will say they liked one song off those albums and think they can’t match their scene bands. VNeck Grindcore is pretty fucking well kinda lame….Stick to Brutal Truth, and see where the inspiration lies! Oh wait, you will all will tell me Brutal Truth is old, and not cool like the Vneck Grindcore bands.
well im 22 and def not a scene kid i liked these guys and while i’m not familiar with the repulsion album (i no i should be shot) or that nasum album in particular but i love shit and helvete and am awaiting the arrival of extreme conditions. but i suppose i’m a rare mix of the new with a massive amount of respect for the classics too
Shift* wow that was bad
Kinda boring for me
