METALSUCKS: NOW iPHONE FRIENDLY

iphone funnyAxl and Vince both recently got douchie iPhones, because they do everything together including eating, sleeping, fucking and going to shul. But honestly, the quality of life improvement resulting from said purchases is that drastic; life is without a doubt much, much better now.

So, as some of you have already noticed MetalSucks is now iPhone friendly; if you visit MetalSucks using Safari on an iPhone or iPod Touch you’ll see a much sleeker, simpler, faster version of the site. If you’d prefer to view it the old/normal/slow way, just scroll all the way down to the bottom and flick the “Mobile Theme” slider to “off.”

Maybe a MetalSucks app soon? Who knows.

    You’re right. iPhones are pretty douchie. I use a phone to make a telephone call. I’m a big tech guy, but I honestly don’t see the purpose behind having a phone that does all this shit.

      No man….I thought the same close minded, “I only use a phone as a phone” remark. Then I actually got one, and yes it changes shit lol, you can do anything on it and even get rid of your ipod because it has one on it. Plus, the games n shit are great for down time at college or anywhere where you’re bored waiting….if youre a techie, its your dream machine

        I have a zune for my music, and I can’t play games on a small screen (hurts my eyes). I know what an iphone can do, I just know that I wouldn’t use it for anything but make calls and an occasional text. If there was an application that would make my wife stop nagging then I may consider it a good investment. Until then, I just don’t see any use for most of the features.

    Could you make this less slow version of Metalsucks available to those of us who have shitty PCs as well? Metalsucks crashes my computer 6/10 I visit it.

      Yea, if you use it constantly throughout the day, you definitely have to charge it every night. Its not a surprise though with the big bright screen/speakers/wifi and all the other BS they put on it

        I don’t use it, i’m the “use your phone to make phone calls” type… But I know the battery on iPhones is shitty, I also know that after 18 months you can just throw it away… It’s been like that since the first iPods and it’s still that way…

    Holy sh*t, stop the presses. You guys are one of the only damn sites to do this right.

    Most iPhone (mobile) sites don’t handle redirects correctly. For instance, I went to my iPhone (yeah, I’m a douche, sue me) and went to google reader. Went to Metalsucks feed and clicked See Original link for this story.

    Guess f’en what, you actually redirect to the ACTUAL STORY. It’s amazing how many sites will redirect the main site correctly, but not the iPhone site. A good deal of sites will not honor the redirect and instead bring you to the main site. Which means I have to find the freaken story I was clicking from.
